Allowing dog slobber and licking can have both positive and negative aspects. Regularly washing hands and keeping surfaces clean can help minimize any potential risks associated with allowing dogs to lick. **

Allowing dog slobber and licking is generally not harmful, as it is a natural behavior for dogs to show affection and communicate. However, it is important to be mindful of potential health risks, such as the transmission of bacteria or parasites through saliva. If a person has a compromised immune system or allergies, they may want to limit contact with dog slobber. Overall, as long as the dog is healthy and well-cared for, occasional slobber and licking should not be a major concern. **
